Indian actor Vikrant Massey was born on April 3, 1987, and is best known for his roles in Hindi movies and on TV. Many people have praised his flexibility, and he has won many awards, such as a Filmfare Award and two Indian Television Academy Awards.
After finishing school at R. D. National College, Massey began his work. In 2007, his first act was in the TV show Dhoom Machaao Dhoom. After that, he had parts in Dharam Veer (2008), Balika Vadhu (2009–2010), and Qubool Hai (2013). After that, he moved on to movies and had small parts in Lootera (2013), Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), and Half Girlfriend (2017).
Massey’s break through came when he played the lead in the independent film A Death in the Gunj. Early life
Vikrant Massey has an older brother named Moeen. He was born to Jolly and Aamna. A member of his family follows both Christianity and Sikhism. His father’s family follows Christianity, and his mother’s family follows Sikhism. His parents, who had been together since childhood, ran away to get married. Their family is from the middle class, and they are from Shimla. A small town in Maharashtra’s Vidarbha region is where Vikrant was born and raised.
Massey went to St. Anthony’s High School in Versova for his schooling. After that, he went to the R. D. National College of Arts & Science in Bandra, Mumbai, to study even more. Vikrant fell in love with dancing when he was very young. When he was only 7, he started acting in small dance and theater shows. Career
Work in television soap operas (2007–2013)
When Massey first started acting, it was on TV in 2007 in the show Dhoom Machaao Dhoom as Aamir Hassan. He is trained as both a modern and a jazz dancer, and he has worked with the famous choreographer Shiamak Davar, even as a choreographer on the show.
Massey played one of the main lords, Dharam, in the 2008 movie Dharam Veer, which also starred Rajat Tokas. In the 2009–2010 movie Balika Vadhu, he played the loving husband Shyam Singh opposite Vibha Anand. This was his big break. After this, Massey played Murli Laal in Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo from 2010 to 2011. This was his first lead part.
The year was 2013. Massey played Ayaan Ahmed Khan, one of the main characters in Qubool Hai, along with Ketki Kadam. He was the host of V The Serial and Yeh Hai Aashiqui in the same year. The last show he was in on TV was Ajab Gajab Ghar Jamai in 2014. This was the start of his move into movies.
Expansion to films and streaming series (2013–2022)
Vikrant Massey first appeared in a Hindi movie in 2013 called Lootera, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. He played Devdas, Ranveer Singh’s character’s assistant and friend. Reviewer Taran Adarsh said good things about his work. In 2015, he was in Zoya Akhtar’s family comedy-drama Dil Dhadakne Do, which starred Anil Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, among others.

After Gaslight, Massey played a young man having a hard time in Mumbai in Mumbaikar, a copy of the Tamil movie Maanagaram. The movie came out on JioCinema.

There are rumors that Vikrant Massey and actor Sheetal Thakur began dating in 2015. However, they became closer while working on the 2018 show Broken But Beautiful. However, some news sources say that they met for the first time on the set of the show and then started dating.
In November 2019, Massey and Thakur got engaged. On February 14, 2022, they registered their marriage.
Their wedding took place in Himachal Pradesh on February 18, 2022, and it was a typical event. They are now married and have a child together.

Vikrant Massey’s roles in movies and TV shows have been praised by both critics and people who work in the business. Dipti Nagpaul D’Souza of The Indian Express said that Massey has played likeable characters in a lot of TV soap operas. Asianet News called him “one of the finest actors” of his age, pointing out that he always chooses strange roles that people can relate to.

Besides that, Massey was part of the group that won the 2016 Screen Award for Best Ensemble group for “Dil Dhadakne Do.” He was nominated for another Zee Cine Award in 2024 for Best Actor – Male for his part in “12th Fail.” The awards Massey has won show how versatile he is and how hard he works at his job.
